I'll finish up my June 2006 pictures with the last part of Owen's Valley I saw on the way home. This cinder cone spit out lots of lava and rocks of various colors. Right now there're a bunch of big trucks eating up the back side of the cone and harvesting the different kinds and colors of lava. Perhaps you have some in your bar-b-que grill in the backyard?
