Basin Mountain
This prominent mountain stands apart from the Sierra Crest. That's why it's called a mountain, instead of being a mere peak in a mountain range. At 13,240 feet, there is a good view from the summit. Here we see an approaching summer storm nicely illuminated by the sun which is setting behind it. This is the last image on my Sierra Nevada Mountain page.
