At the western end of the Santa Monica Mountains are three hills called Tri-Peaks. The highest of them is also one of the highest peaks in that mountain chain, and it is called Tri Peak. At 3,010 feet, you get a great view of the ocean, from which the mountains rise out of. There is a lot of red rock in this area, as you can see. Someday I'd like to climb up to that orange area on the right and see what it is made out of.
