The Palisades
The group of peaks collectively called 'The Palisades' contain almost half of California's 14ers. Here we are looking along the Palisade Ridge, so only the highest peaks can be seen. On the left is North Palisade at 14,242', and just a hair to the right of it is Polemonium Peak at 14,080'. In the middle is Mount Sill at 14,153', and on the right is Middle Palisade at 14,040'. And what of South Palisade? Yep, I'm standing on it! It's more commonly known as Split Mountain nowadays.
