When you start hiking up from the bottom of the Owen's Valley this peak looks like it's way up in the sky, and you wonder, 'How am I ever gonna get up there?' But then after a couple days of serious hiking you get to look down on it from above. And then it still looks impressive! On the other side of the Owen's Valley are the Inyo Mountains.
