Woodland Star
In the slightest breeze these nifty flowers look like little stars dancing around on their thin stalks. Very nice, but just try getting one to hold still so you can make it's portrait. Usually the flowers are not as robust as this example, but patience and searching pays off (sometimes, good luck!). Wildflowering can be so much fun! Lithophragma affinis (Saxifrage family)
