The AuSable River has five dams, each with a pond behind it. On Foote Pond is the AuSable River Queen, a sternwheel paddle boat. This design gives it very little draft, so that it can navigate over shallows and stumps in the river. For a small fee they will take you for a ride around the pond. I went to a wedding reception held on the boat. Nice place for a party.
