Red Rocks Canyon

This is part of The Red Cliff. Each layer in the rock is caused by volcanic activity. Over the years the type of activity changes, sometimes throwing out cinders, sometimes ash, sometimes lava. They gradually built up and formed the land we walk on. Then a stream started cutting through here and eroded away a little canyon, exposing these nice colors. Variations of red, white and pink.
