So I'm walking on these rocks, watching where I'm stepping, so I don't slip or anything. Imagine my surprise when I suddenly realize I'm only inches away from stepping on a snake! Think that'd make him mad? The guy behind me was quite confused when I jumped backwards into his arms. No wonder. This guy (I presume he is a guy, I didn't check) was wedged into a bit of a crack. He's also very well camoflaged. He's obviously waiting for some food to come along, too bad for him I'm too big to eat, since I was right there in his face. Now look at his tounge, the inner part is a bright blue. The higher resolution picture also shows several cracked scales. The inside of those scales is also the same blue color.
