This lake is very seldom seen, as it is usually buried under the snow or it is dry. I got here at the end of June, when the snowmelt was just right to form the lake. Dancing Bear Pass is at 12,120 feet elevation in the Bear Lakes Basin. The wicked-looking mountain behind it is Seven Gables.
