In photography, light is everything. My brother and I were exploring slot canyons on a cloudy day. We climbed out of one and looked to the east, and saw a very dark cloud, an approaching thunderboomer. Just then, the setting sun found a hole in the clouds in the far west and beamed a ray of light under the cloud and onto these hills. It was pouring rain just beyond the hills. I took one picture, and then the light was gone. You like?
