Tarantula Wasps

These big wasps seem to love this flower, whatever type it is! (it looks like something in the Carrot family) There are many species of Tarantula Wasps. They all have black bodies and orange wings, some also have orange antennas. These are not the biggest I have ever seen, but they are plenty big enough to disable a Tarantula Spider. They get their name from their habit of laying their eggs inside living Tarantula Spiders.
