Broken Bridge
Here's another broken bridge. This one is in the Newhall Pass. It is the end of
the CA-14 freeway, which fell on the I-5 freeway.Most of the bridges in this
area were broken. The white car on the broken bridge has a smashed up
front end, with oil leaking out. You can see traffic went right to left over
the bridge. Thirty minutes after the quake an irresponsible LAPD
motorcycle officer was speeding recklessly and drove off of the
end of the bridge, killing himself. His motorcycle is still
there on the ground.
