Broken Apartment Building
This collapsed building was in Van Nuys. See the lamp hanging near
the wall, towards the back? Follow the chain up. It disappears over the
wall. It used to hang from the ceiling in the middle of this room. What
happened is that the ceiling went over there and the wall came over
here. I took pictures like this a week or so after the quake. I was not
willing to go in people's homes until they or the thieves
removed all their belongings.
