John's Nature Pictures

Darn it!! I shoulda gone over there and collected my pot of gold! Too bad I didn't think of it till later. Oh well, I suppose itz too late now! And what a pity, I could really use a pot full of gold...

The early morning sun shone over the Alabama Hills and under the cloud which was snowing on the Sierra Nevada Mtns. High up in the sky the precipitation was snow, so the bow cut off. At lower elevations the falling snow melted, so the sunlight hit rain and produced a colorful bow. Somewhere behind the bow is Mt Whitney, totally clouded and snowed in.
