See the peak on the left? That's Ski Mountaineer's Peak, at 13,323 feet. So called because in the winter some brave people like to climb up there and ski off of it! In the middle is Mt Thompson, at 13,494 feet. The snow can reach twenty feet deep by this lake, but is much thinner on the steep slopes.
